Dylon Hand Dye Passion Pink is a 50g powder fabric dye designed to add vibrant colour to suitable clothing, accessories, household textiles and craft projects. The Passion Pink shade provides a bright pink finish for refreshing existing fabrics or creating colourful textile designs.

The hand-dye format is particularly suitable for smaller items such as shorts, vests, socks and accessories, as well as delicate fabrics that may not be suitable for machine dyeing.

The dye can be used with suitable natural fibres including cotton, linen and viscose. Wool and silk are also suitable for hand dyeing. Mixed fabrics containing polyester may achieve a lighter shade, while synthetic fabrics such as polyester and nylon do not dye effectively.

One 50g sachet is sufficient to dye 250g of fabric to a full shade or up to 500g of fabric to a lighter shade. Multiple sachets can be used when treating larger quantities of fabric. Approximately 250g of salt is required for the dyeing process.

The final colour depends on the original colour of the fabric, fibre composition and quantity of material being dyed. For the most consistent result, fabric should be clean and suitable for dyeing before treatment.

The Passion Pink shade is also available in a machine-dye format. For changing from one strong colour to another or achieving a lighter shade, a suitable pre-dye product can be used according to the dyeing instructions.
