Dylon Hand Dye Smoke Grey is a 50g powder fabric dye designed for recolouring, refreshing and customising suitable textile items. The Smoke Grey shade provides a versatile neutral grey colour for clothing, accessories, soft furnishings and creative textile projects.

The hand-dye format is suitable for smaller items such as shorts, vests, socks and accessories, as well as delicate fabrics that may not be suitable for washing-machine dyeing.

The dye is suitable for natural fibres including cotton, linen and viscose. Wool and silk can also be dyed using the hand-dye process. Mixed fabrics containing polyester may produce lighter colour results, while synthetic fabrics such as polyester and nylon are not suitable for full dyeing results.

One 50g sachet can dye up to 250g of fabric to a full shade or up to 500g to a lighter shade. Multiple sachets can be used when dyeing larger quantities. Approximately 250g of salt is required for the dyeing process.
