A built-in straining system helps retain seeds and larger pieces of pulp while allowing juice to pass through the base of the press. The design is particularly suited to everyday kitchen preparation, salad dressings, marinades, sauces, baking, beverages and cocktails. Independent product testing has also noted that the slotted juice outlet helps direct juice while containing seeds.
The FreshForce is intended primarily for smaller citrus fruit. The lemon version works particularly well with lemons and limes, but it is not designed for large citrus such as grapefruit.
The manufacturer recommends hand washing, although the current Chef'n product page also states that the juicer can be placed in a dishwasher for cleanup. For catalog consistency with the supplied care specification, hand washing is the preferred care method.
