The MasterClass 2.5L Cast Aluminium Casserole Dish with Lid combines the heat-conducting performance of cast iron with the lighter handling of aluminium. Its cast aluminium construction heats quickly and distributes heat evenly, making it suitable for preparing casseroles, stews, curries, braised dishes, soups and slow-cooked meals.
With a compact 20cm cooking diameter and 2.5-litre capacity, this small casserole dish is well suited to everyday portions, side dishes and meals for smaller households. The integrated stainless steel base allows the casserole pot to be used across a wide range of cooking surfaces, including induction, gas, electric, ceramic, halogen and solid-plate hobs. It can also be transferred directly from the hob to the oven and is oven safe up to 200°C (392°F).

The interior features two layers of non-stick, scratch-resistant coating designed to provide smooth food release and simplify cleaning. The non-stick surface can also reduce the need for additional cooking oil. The included self-basting lid has raised dimples that help retain moisture and return condensation to the food, making it particularly useful for stews, braised meats and other slow-cooked recipes.
Sturdy side handles make the casserole easier to move between the hob, oven and serving area. However, the handles can become hot during cooking, so appropriate oven protection should always be used. The casserole dish is dishwasher safe for convenient cleaning.
