Product overview
Swan Electric Jug Kettle 1.7L 2200W Rapid Boil Cordless Removable Filter Grey
Make everyday hot drinks easier with the Swan 1.7L Electric Jug Kettle in Grey. Designed for busy households, offices and shared kitchens, this cordless electric kettle combines a generous 1.7 litre capacity with a powerful 1850–2200W heating element for convenient rapid boiling.
The 1.7 litre jug capacity can provide enough boiling water for approximately seven to eight cups, depending on cup size, reducing the need to refill the kettle repeatedly when preparing drinks for family, friends or colleagues. The kettle is also suitable for preparing hot water for cooking and other everyday kitchen tasks.

Its 1850–2200W heating element is designed for rapid and relatively quiet boiling. The variable power rating reflects the kettle's heating performance under the UK mains supply, with the maximum 2200W output available for fast heating.
For easier maintenance, the Swan kettle features a removable and washable filter. The filter is designed to help trap limescale particles before they are poured into your cup. It can be removed for rinsing and cleaning, which is particularly useful in hard-water areas.
The cordless jug construction allows the kettle to be lifted away from its powered base for easier pouring and filling. The base also incorporates cord storage, helping keep the worktop tidy when the appliance is not being used.
A transparent external water-level indicator allows you to check the amount of water before switching the kettle on, while the locking hinged lid provides convenient access when filling. An indicator light illuminates during boiling.
Safety is supported by automatic shut-off, boil-dry protection and overheat protection. Automatic shut-off stops the heating process once the water has boiled, while boil-dry and overheat protection are designed to prevent the appliance from continuing to heat when insufficient water is present.
Finished in grey, the Swan has a compact jug-kettle form designed for practical everyday use. Its lightweight construction, ergonomic handle, cordless operation and removable filter make it suitable for regular tea and coffee preparation in domestic kitchens, workplaces and staffrooms.
