Product overview
Zep Silicone Sealant Remover Gel 100ml with Built-In Brush Cap for Cured Silicone and Acrylic Sealant
Zep Silicone Sealant Remover is a 100ml gel formulated to help remove cured silicone and acrylic sealant residue during bathroom, kitchen and general home maintenance projects. It is particularly useful when replacing old bathroom silicone, removing unwanted caulk or preparing joints and edges for fresh sealant.
The gel formulation is applied directly to the remaining sealant using the brush incorporated into the bottle cap, allowing targeted application around joints, corners and other areas where old silicone has accumulated. Zep's published instructions recommend first removing as much of the old sealant as possible mechanically, then applying the remover generously without spreading it too thinly. The product should be allowed to penetrate for approximately 15 minutes before the softened residue is carefully scraped away. If necessary, the treatment can be left longer or repeated.

After removal, Zep recommends wiping away the residue, washing the treated area with soapy water and drying it thoroughly before applying new sealant. Always perform a small compatibility test first, particularly on plastic bath panels and painted wood, as solvent-based sealant removers can affect sensitive or finished surfaces.
The product is supplied as a single 100ml container with an integrated application brush. It does not include a separate silicone-removal scraper or multi-angle silicone tool unless specifically stated by the seller; the standard retail pack is listed as one Zep Silicone Sealant Remover 100ml.
