Makita 40V Max Li-ion XGT Interchangeable Adapter Set - Black

Introducing XGT, a new 40V standalone system; with a new charging adapter to allow the new 40V Max XGT platform to use the DC40RA charger to charge both LXT slide type battery and the new XGT battery in as little as 28 minutes.

The XGT range of tools and batteries have a built-in program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing for the battery not only to talk with the tool but also for the tool to talk to the battery.

The ADP10 Interchangeable Adapter Set has been designed especially for use with the Makita DC40RA 40V Max XGT Fast Charger (not included) to charge Makita LXT slide type batteries (not included). The charging performance of the DC40RA Fast Charger with the ADP10 Interchangeable Adapter Set is equal to that of the Makita DC18RC and DC18RD chargers.

The light on the DC40RA indicates the charging status.

Charging times for LXT batteries are approximately 15 minutes for 1.3 Ah and 1.5 Ah, 24 minutes for 2.0 Ah, 22 minutes for 3.0 Ah, 29 minutes for 4.0 Ah and 40 minutes for 5.0 Ah and 6.0 Ah.

Not compatible with G-Series batteries.
