Product overview
Blue Spot Tools Disc Brake Piston Spreader 0-65mm Chrome Vanadium Caliper Brake Pad Tool
The Blue Spot Tools Disc Brake Piston Spreader 0–65mm is a practical workshop tool designed to assist with retracting disc brake caliper pistons during brake pad replacement and servicing. It provides controlled separation of the caliper pistons, helping create the clearance required when installing new brake pads.
With an adjustable 0–65mm spreading capacity, the tool can accommodate different piston positions and caliper configurations. Its design allows the pistons to be retracted and released squarely, helping maintain even pressure during operation and reducing the potential for damage to surrounding brake components.

The brake piston spreader is suitable for single-piston, twin opposing piston and other caliper types, making it a useful addition to automotive workshops, garages and DIY vehicle maintenance tool collections. It is compatible with many car models, although suitability should always be checked against the specific brake caliper before use.
Constructed from chrome vanadium steel, the tool is designed to withstand the mechanical force involved in brake servicing while providing durability for repeated workshop use. It can be operated with either a 1/2-inch ratchet or a 21mm spanner, providing flexibility depending on the available tools and working space.
The compact design makes it convenient to store alongside other automotive service tools and brake maintenance equipment.
