Zep Air Conditioning & Heat Pump Cleaner is a purpose-designed 500ml foaming HVAC cleaner for maintaining air conditioning systems and heat pumps. Its stable, water-based foam penetrates accumulated dirt and residue, helping loosen and remove deposits including lint, soot, tar and oil.

The ready-to-use aerosol format provides convenient, even application across suitable air-conditioning and heat-pump internal components. The foam is designed to remain in contact with contaminated surfaces long enough to help break down accumulated debris before being carried away through the system’s normal condensation process.

Unlike cleaners requiring a separate rinse stage, this formulation is designed for no additional rinsing when used. It also leaves a fresh scent, helping reduce unpleasant odours associated with dirt and residue inside HVAC equipment.

Regular cleaning can help maintain clear airflow and support consistent air-conditioning or heat-pump operation. Removing accumulated contamination may also help the system operate with less strain, supporting performance and potentially contributing to lower operating costs.

For application, Zep instructs users to switch off the appliance, shake the aerosol well, remove loose dirt with a brush or vacuum cleaner, then spray evenly from approximately 20cm away, beginning at the air-intake side. Allow the foam to work for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, then switch the appliance back on.

Materials & Care Instructions
