• 3000W rapid boiling: High-power heating system designed to bring up to 1.7 litres of water to boiling temperature quickly.
• 1.7L capacity: Generous jug capacity suitable for preparing multiple cups of tea, coffee and other hot beverages.
• 360 cordless swivel base: Detachable power base allows the kettle to be positioned and lifted from any direction.
• Removable washable filter: The removable mesh anti-limescale filter helps trap deposits and can be rinsed for easier maintenance.
• Convenient everyday design: Includes a transparent water-level indicator, flip-top lid, illuminated on/off indicator and integrated cord storage. Kenwood's product information confirms the Abbey series uses a 1.7L capacity and 3000W power.

The Kenwood Abbey Lux Electric Kettle combines a 1.7-litre capacity with a powerful 3000W heating system for convenient everyday hot-water preparation. Finished in Pure White, the kettle is designed to complement modern kitchen worktops while providing practical features for tea, coffee and other hot drinks.

Its 360 swivel power base allows the kettle to be lifted and replaced from any direction, making it convenient for both left- and right-handed use. The cordless jug design also makes pouring and serving easier. The power base is detachable, while integrated cord storage helps keep excess cable neatly contained on the worktop.

A transparent water-level window makes it easier to measure the required quantity of water before boiling. This is useful when preparing a single cup as well as when using the kettle's full 1.7L capacity for several drinks. The flip-top lid is designed for convenient one-handed opening and filling.

The Abbey Lux kettle uses a 3000W heating element for rapid boiling. Kenwood's Abbey Lux specifications list a removable mesh filter, internal water-level indicator, pull-off lid and illuminated on/off function.

For water quality and maintenance, the kettle features a fully removable and washable anti-limescale filter. The supplied Kenwood instructions explain that the filter can be unclipped and rinsed under the tap or cleaned with a soft brush; regular descaling is recommended to maintain boiling performance.

The kettle has a compact footprint of approximately 22 × 18.8 × 25 cm, with a stated capacity of 1.7 litres. The body is made primarily from plastic and has a painted Pure White finish.
