Oral-B states that the outer cushioning ring uses 4.5-mil bristle filaments, helping provide a softer brushing experience. Each head contains approximately 4,000 filaments.

The brush heads are made specifically for the Oral-B electric toothbrush platform and are compatible with all Oral-B electric toothbrush handles.
