Made from durable 18/10 food-grade stainless steel, the cookware is suitable for preparing foods that benefit from controlled, indirect heat as well as conventional saucepan cooking.

The two-tier construction allows the upper pan to sit above the lower pan, creating a bain-marie cooking environment. This makes the cookware particularly useful for melting chocolate, preparing custard, making sauces, cooking porridge and handling other delicate ingredients where direct heat may cause sticking, scorching or overheating.
