The HoMedics Non-Contact Infrared Thermometer provides a fast and convenient way to measure forehead temperature without direct physical contact. Using infrared temporal scan technology, the thermometer measures temperature from approximately 1–5cm away from the forehead and displays the result in less than two seconds.

The easy-to-read LCD features a three-colour temperature indicator. Green indicates a normal temperature range, yellow indicates a slight fever warning and red indicates a high fever. A fever alarm provides an audible alert when the temperature reaches the configured fever threshold.
