Operating from the Draper D20 interchangeable battery platform, it combines cordless convenience with a 9000 RPM no-load motor and a 290mm cutting width for efficient trimming.

The trimmer uses two Draper 20V Li-ion batteries to provide its 40V operating voltage. Batteries and charger are sold separately, making the bare-tool version suitable for existing D20 users who already have compatible batteries and charging equipment.

A 4m x 1.5mm double nylon trimming line is fitted with an automatic-feed system to help maintain the required cutting line during operation without frequent manual adjustment. An integrated edge guard helps control the line and reduce unnecessary line wastage.

For improved versatility, the cutting head can be adjusted through four positions, allowing the operator to alter the working angle when trimming lawn edges, tight spaces and areas with different contours. The telescopic shaft adjusts from approximately 880mm to 1470mm, while the fully adjustable auxiliary handle provides additional control and ergonomic positioning.
