The included BRITA MAXTRA PRO ALL-IN-1 cartridge uses a 4-stage filtration system combining natural activated carbon beads and ion exchange beads. The filtration technology helps reduce limescale and taste- or odour-affecting substances such as chlorine, while also reducing metals including lead and copper and traces of certain herbicides, pesticides and pharmaceuticals when present in tap water.

A convenient integrated tap makes dispensing filtered water simple, while the sliding flap provides easy access for filling and cleaning. The countertop format allows the unit to be positioned where filtered water is needed, making it particularly practical for family kitchens, shared workplaces and other areas with regular drinking-water consumption.

The integrated BRITA Memo digital filter indicator measures the time since the cartridge was installed and provides a reminder when replacement is due. For optimal filtration performance, BRITA recommends changing the cartridge approximately every 4 weeks.
