The Draper Needle Scaler is a pneumatic surface preparation tool designed for cleaning heavy paint, rust, scale and other unwanted material from metal surfaces. Its pistol-grip design combines a lightweight aluminium housing with an ergonomic soft-grip handle to provide improved comfort during prolonged operation.

Fitted with 19 needles, the scaler delivers up to 4,500 blows per minute for effective and precise clearing of metal surfaces. The 24mm stroke length provides a practical working action for demanding cleaning and preparation applications.

The tool features a 1/4″ BSP airline connector connected to a 360° rotating air inlet. This rotating connection helps prevent the airline from kinking while the tool is being used. A front exhaust directs expelled air away from the rear of the tool.

The lightweight construction and ergonomic design are intended to help reduce the cold-sink effect commonly associated with prolonged use of pneumatic tools.
