The DHR242Z is a lightweight, cordless 3 mode rotary hammer. The brushless motor efficiently uses energy to match torque and rpm to the changing demand of the application, and eliminates carbon brushes, enabling the motor to run cooler and efficiently for longer life. Features mode operation for rotation only, hammering with rotation or hammering only.

The torque limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging gears if the bit binds. Unique rubber joint construction suppresses the transmission of vibration to battery terminals, minimising battery failures such as terminal breakage or poor electrical contact.
