Makita 40V Max XGT Rapid Optimum Charger
Introducing XGT, a new 40V standalone system; with a new charging adapter to allow the new 40V Max XGT platform to use the DC40RA charger to charge both LXT slide type batterty and the new XGT battery in as little as 28 minutes.
The XGT range of tools and batteries has a built-in program that provides digital communication between the battery and the tool, allowing for the battery not only to talk with the tool but also for the tool to talk to the battery.
The DC40RA 40V Max XGT Fast Charger is designed for charging Li-ion XGT batteries (not included), equipped with a raised and enlarged charging indicator status light for a more visible indication, a selectable melody sound for notification of a fully charged battery, and has two cooling fans, one for the battery and one for the charging circuit. The DC40RA is capable of performing consecutive fast charges of batteries and is compatible with the Makita Interchangeable Adapter ADP10 (not included) for charging Makita Li-ion LXT slide-type batteries (not included).
The DC40RA is wall-mountable.
The charging time for a BL4025 40V Max 2.5 Ah battery is approximately 28 minutes and a BL4040 40V Max 4.0 Ah battery is approximately 45 minutes.
