Spray Repellent for Cat and Dog SSSCAT PetSafe’s SSSCAT uses infrared to monitor movements up to 1m away to keep pets out of unwanted areas, such as counters, away from trash cans, prevent them from scratching or climbing furniture, and keep them away from anything else you might want to protect.

When your pet approaches the device, a short jet releases, The spray is harmless, odorless, and stainless.

How it works

The PetSafe SCAT is an automated pet deterrent that uses a spray to set home boundaries. The fully adjustable nozzle uses a motion detector and temperature change to detect when your pet is approaching, then emits a harmless spray to discourage your pets from entering unwanted areas.

Each box of compressed air contains about 80-100 sprays. The motion sensor uses 4 AAA batteries (not included).

The SCAT has a delay of 2 minutes at startup and 30 to 40 seconds between sprays.
